EFCCA Patient Talk: Seasonal vaccines and IBD

Within the framework of our EFCCA Patient Talk series we are pleased to announce our next Patient Talk to take place on Friday 27 November 2020 from 3-4 pm. It will look at the topic of Seasonal vaccines and IBD following a survey that EFCCA had carried out amongst its members concerning the availability and practise of seasonal vaccines during our current pandemic.

Our invited guests for this Patient Talk are Kawaldip Sehmi from the International Alliance of Patients' Organisations (IAPO) who will talk about actions that patient organisations have taken concerning patient safety. Dr Bogdan Mateescu,will address some of the burning questions as concerns IBD and vaccines that have been raised by the IBD patient community.

The meeting will be moderated by our Vice President, Ciara Drohan, who will also represent the outcomes of our recent survey. Our final presentation will be a case study from Spain providing practical solutions to shortages of medicines.

Participants will be able to join the discussions with the speakers during our Question and Answer session.
